what to expect
This wilderness adventure takes place in a true rugged western environment. There are some open and easier access sections of the river but most flows through rough canyons that are choked with boulders, downed trees, strainers and canyon walls. We ask that our guest be fit and able to hike and scramble along the river bottom. We will hike 3 to 8 miles (round trip) from camp each day. We will always try our best to build your trip around your ability and needs but this trip is a little more demanding than our other guide trips.

what is included
Your professional Rio Epic guide, flies (including top secret ones) as well as terminal tackle and gear are all included. Guides will offer a yummy streamside lunch, snacks and drinks. Your Epic guide will also have water on hand to top-off client's personal water bottles.
Need to borrow a fly rod/reel or waders & boots?
No problem, they are included at no extra cost.

For each angler/rider there is a horse fee of $500 ($250 in & out). Backpacking supported trips this fee is not required. Customary gratuity for your guide and wranglers as well as a valid Colorado or New Mexico fishing license are also not included.
